Honored to have participated as a speaker at the International Quantum Business Conference (IQBC) in Santiago de Compostela this week. It was a fantastic opportunity to dive deep into how quantum computing, supercomputing and AI are converging – not just as technologies, but as real levers for business value and societal impact.I had a blast during the roundtable: plenty of tough questions, great moderator I am talking to you Helena de Fuentes, strong views on the state of public and private investment in quantum, and a very engaged audience. We discussed what it really takes to move from research demos to scalable commercial solutions, and how to bridge the gap between infrastructure, applications and industry adoption.It was also a pleasure to reconnect with many friends from the ecosystem, meet new founders and researchers, and feel the momentum building around the International Quantum Center in Santiago and initiatives like the work Almudena Justo Martínez and the Fsas Technologies – a Fujitsu company team are driving on scaling quantum capabilities and linking them to real‑world use cases.Huge thanks to the organizers, speakers and participants for creating such a high‑quality forum. Already looking forward to IQBC 2026 and to continuing these conversations on the future of quantum business.
